adidas has announced that it will be creating an exclusive retail store and experience for fans at the NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans. The whole concept is called, "adidas in the Quarter".
The "retail store" part of adidas in the Quarter will feature the complete range of official adidas NBA All-Star merchandise - jerseys, men's and women's tee shirts, jackets, headwear and other apparel and accessory offerings. The 2,400-square-foot store will also give fans a chance to get limited edition footwear from adidas Originals and adidas Basketball. The store is already open from now until Feb 23, with longer hours during the NBA All-Star weekend.
Now for the "exclusive experience". Starting from Thursday, Feb. 13, adidas fans in the historic French Quarter will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet adidas athletes and entertainers through several events, product launches, concerts, in-store appearances and more. The line-up adidas released includes NBA legends Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Dikembe Mutombo, current NBA All-Stars Dwight Howard, Damian Lillard, John Wall, and Joakim Noah, as well as young guns Harrison Barnes, Steven Adams, Tim Hardaway Jr. and hip-hop artist 2 Chainz.
