The adidas x Pharrell collaboration may not be officially launched, but the singer/designer is already making waves in the sneaker community by customizing his pairs of adidas Stan Smith.
Yeah, we've all seen the "I Dunno" kicks where he wrote a few words in different colors on his shoes. adidas Originals used those unmistakable shoes for the teaser video to announce the partnership.
This time, Pharrell showed up on Saturday Night Live and later, on Good Morning America in these Stan Smiths adorned with Swarovski crystals:

Pharrell's inspiration came from Swarovski's own line of platform shoes. He took it upon himself to contact the company and come up with this adidas x Pharrell x Swarovski hybrid.
While we still have to wait to see the first line of his products with adidas, we at least get a preview of what his designs might look like. So far, it seems like we'll be in for some loud, in-your-face stuff that would make creative use of materials not normally seen on shoes.
